How To Build The Perfect Shopify Product Page

Shopify Online Store 2.0

Since I started using Shopify I always struggled with how limited I was when it comes to optimizing or modifying the product pages.

If you have used Shopify before, you would know exactly what I am talking about. We were only able to change some settings and maybe show or hide the related products but that is!

And this was bad!

Long pages with a lot of information and visual elements are becoming more and more important especially when we are running ads and we want to tell our store visitors more about our product.

To fix this problem, we used to work with landing page builders or hire web developers.

And this was bad as well! because both options were expensive!

Well, Shopify Online Store 2.0 changed this forever!

This update allowed us to customize all our store pages including our product pages for sure, in the same way, we used to build and customize the homepage.

This means, that now we can add sections EVERYWHERE! Yes everywhere! And in the video below, I take you through a full tutorial where I create a highly optimized product page!

Step #1:

Whenever I want to create the product page template for any store, the first thing I start knowe market research.

I need to understand my potential customers, I need to understand what they are searching for, and what kind of information they are interested in so they don't have any hesitation, and they don't feel like they still need more information before making the decision to buy my product.

Before buying a product a customer must know everything about it so we must provide all the needed information inside of our product pages. That is why I always go to my competitors' stores, I study their product pages carefully, and I read all the reviews, especially the bad ones to understand what my potential customers ask about and what information they need.

After doing my research, I created a list of the sections and information I need to include within my page, and I did my best to make sure that I covered all their questions and objections.

Step #2:

Once I decided what information I need. I start preparing my content and this includes all the texts, photos, and infographics that I need to include on my page.

I highly recommend you use infographics on your product pages. People rather look at an infographic than read a lengthy text containing the same content.

Step #3:

Once I have all the needed content, I start to build my product page template on Shopify. For this step, I need you to head over to the video tutorial and follow my exact steps!
